I just wanted to share this picture with all of you.  Her personality really came to life.  We had a photo shoot with Linsey Wilson.  She did a great job with Ella.  We changed outfits three times and took pictures at numerous locations!  I am looking forward to posting more in upcoming posts.  This rocking chair we used in this picture is actually a chair that has been in Jamie's family for a long time.  Ella loves that chair and rocks her babies to sleep in it at home.

Last night, I was thinking about all the things I wanted to share on my blog today.  My post may be a little random - but all of you know that's how I am anyway!

The adjustment to working a different schedule is going to take a while.  I am used to working 8:30 - 5:30 Monday through Friday.  With my new schedule I will be working all times of the week.  Yesterday I worked from 2 - 10:45.  It is going to take a lot of getting used to, but I knew that before I accepted the job.   On the plus side, I will get to spend a lot more time with Ella during the day before I go to work. She will be actually be spending a lot less time with the babysitter.   I could have never taken this job without knowing that Ella would be in great hands with Jamie.  He is such a blessing, and I know she is perfectly fine when she is with him.  Last night, he took her to Bi-Lo and they grilled hot dogs.  Now, FYI- Jamie will only eat ALL beef, Nathan's hot dogs.  Which brings to me a funny memory.  When Jamie and I were dating, my sweet momma tried to pass chicken "hot dogs" over on Jamie, and it did not work out that well.  Jamie being the sweet man he is, tried to choke one down. It was pretty funny! Anyway, Ella ate TWO hot dogs last night! I couldn't believe it!  Jamie was really sweet and stayed up to wait on me until I got home.  We talked for a while, I had to get the latest updates on Ella.  And, I have to say that I went to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.  I slept good, which hasn't happened in a while!

I better run, Ella just woke up and is asking for "milk with butter in it" - AKA chocolate milk.
Still don't know where that one came from! =)

Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog!  I have been thinking about creating a blog for awhile now.  Every time we come across a milestone, I immediately want everyone to know! I wanted to create a place for our friends and family to come see what is going on in the life of the Tapp's.  Ella is always saying funny things, and we don't always have time to call everyone to share!  I hope you all enjoy and get as much joy from reading as we do everyday from our precious child!
